1. 在画画当中，马蒂斯平生第一次感觉到“自由、安宁和闲静”。马蒂斯用他自己的话说：“我好像被召唤着，从此以后我不再主宰我的生活，而它主宰我。”
2. 明末清初大画家石涛,是有开创性的一代宗师。他自号苦瓜和尚，餐餐不离苦瓜。甚至还把苦瓜供奉案头朝拜。
3. 米罗是一名超现实主义的画家，因他企图要毁面理性和逻辑的主宰，把无意识和非逻辑心灵的冲做冲力从中解放出来，且探测不可见领域和视觉世界的奥秘。

2. 门开在写字台前方右角上，也不易受门外噪音的干扰和他人的窥视。如果写字间的门开在左上角，写字台也可以相应调整一下位置，效果一样好，不受所谓属相吉向之说的影响。
3. 大面积地使用白色，让黑色作为一个色块在其中起平衡作用，是不会出错的做法。切忌用黑色做整体墙面，那样虽然看上去很酷，打理起来却颇费功夫，因为黑色的砖面会让灰尘纤毫毕现。
