1. 餐桌马蒂斯是一个善于吸取各种艺术门类的优点的人，他研究东方地毯和北非景色的配色法，发展成一种对现代设计有巨大影响的风格。
2. 石溪诗文书画皆工，绘画成就尤为突出，石溪与石涛(1642—1727)齐名，并称“二石”；又与弘仁(1610-1663)、八大(1626—1705)和石涛四人并称“清初四大画僧”；与程正揆(号青溪)并称“二溪”。
3. 1950年代，米罗投入蚀刻和平面印刷的工作，同时也画了许多水彩、粉蜡笔画，及在铜板及纤维板上作画。他的陶瓷雕刻尤为显赫，特别是他的1957-1959年的两项陶壁作品 － 太阳和月亮之壁。
