- 后世评八大山人:“所写水墨画,脱尽窠臼,天姿超迈,故能空前绝后为开一代生面”。
- 野兽主义(Fauvism)是自1898至1908年在法国盛行一时的一个现代绘画潮流。它虽然没有明确的理论和纲领，但却是一定数量的画家在一段时期里聚合起来积极活动的结果，因而也可以被视为一个画派。
- 点彩画派正相反，后印象派认为色彩是逐渐过渡的，所以用一个个色点堆砌，即使是一片蓝天，也要用各种蓝色色点堆积。

- 居室内挂画不宜过大，有空白墙面宽度的一半左右即可。
