1. 博斯腾为站立之意，这个名称的由来是因为有三道湖心山屹立于湖中。古代也称这个湖为鱼海，是中国第一大内陆淡水吞吐湖，孔雀河就是从这里发源，流向塔克拉玛干的深处
2. 1920年到1930年间，超现实主义成为欧洲艺术界的主流。超现实主义的艺术家除了受到达达主义的影响外，奥地利学者弗洛伊德（Sigmund Freud l856-1939）的“精神分析学说”也是很重要的影响
