1. 在画画当中，马蒂斯平生第一次感觉到“自由、安宁和闲静”。马蒂斯用他自己的话说：“我好像被召唤着，从此以后我不再主宰我的生活，而它主宰我。”
2. 布格罗( Bouguereau,Adolphe William,1825.11.30--1905.8.19 )是法国19世纪上半叶法国学院派绘画的最重要人物。他以神话和寓言题材的绘画吸引大批追随者。一生获得多种殊荣，成为当时法国最著名的画家。
