- 亨利·马蒂斯(Henri Matisse,1869-1954)生于法国南部勒卡多小镇。父亲是个商人,母亲曾做过陶瓷厂的画工。
- 石溪(1612—1673),亦名髡残,亦称髡残石溪,俗姓刘,字介丘,号石溪、白秃、残道人。湖南常德武陵(今鼎城区)人。
- 梵高几乎没有受过什么正规的绘画训练。为弄到画布、油彩和画具而日复一日地奔波劳碌,精神上也不断处于矛盾的状态,为追求艺术的完美而承受着压力,这些即使不是他后来罹病的直接原因,也给他的生活悲剧埋下了种子。
