1. “开着的窗户”也许是第一个主题达到充分发展的例子，马蒂斯的余生，一直偏爱着这种主题。它只不过是墙面的一小部分，窗户占了一大片地方。

3. 马蒂斯说：“对我而言，野兽时期是绘画工具的试验，我必须出一种富于表现力而意味深长的方式，将蓝﹑红﹑绿并列融汇。”　所以有人认为野兽派不是一个艺术运动，只是马蒂斯等人艺术生涯中短暂的一个阶段，一个特别注意线和色彩表现力、不受任何程序束縳的阶段。

3. 楼梯间、玄关处、房间转角处，甚至厕所内部也可以作一些装饰，别看这些不起眼的小地方，它能让你随时都能欣赏到精致的小风景。
