1. 布歇的才能被路易十五世的情人蓬帕杜夫人所赏识，画了几幅她的肖像画。蓬帕杜是路易王朝第一美人，而且是才女。
2. 弘 仁：（1610-1663）清代著名画家。僧。俗姓江，名舫，字鸥盟。《浙江传》说他名韬，字六奇，为僧后，名弘仁，自号浙江学人，又字浙江僧、无智，梅花古衲。徽州歙县（今属安徽）人。
3. 野兽主义得名于1905年巴黎的秋季沙龙展览，当时，以马蒂斯为首的一批前卫艺术家展于同一层厅的作品，引起轩然大波。有人形象地将这些画称作“一罐颜料掼在公众的面前”。而那位后来创出“立体主义”名称的《吉尔·布拉斯》杂志的记者路易·沃塞尔，则突发灵感地想到了这一恰也合适的名称。
