1. 明末清初大画家石涛,是有开创性的一代宗师。他自号苦瓜和尚，餐餐不离苦瓜。甚至还把苦瓜供奉案头朝拜。
2. 野兽主义作为社团存在的时间祗有二三年。参加这一社团的艺术家后来朝着不同的目标,继续作新的探索。
3. 在艺术表现上，后印象派更加强调构成关系，认为艺术形象要异于生活的物象，用作者的主观感情去改造客观物象，要表现出“主观化了的客观”。
