- 亨利·马蒂斯(Henri Matisse,1869-1954)生于法国南部勒卡多小镇。父亲是个商人,母亲曾做过陶瓷厂的画工。
- 近代齐白石、黄宾虹、张大干、潘天寿等画坛巨子,无一不是从石涛画作中吸取营养。
- 野兽主义得名于1905年巴黎的秋季沙龙展览,当时,以马蒂斯为首的一批前卫艺术家展于同一层厅的作品,引起轩然大波。有人形象地将这些画称作“一罐颜料掼在公众的面前”。而那位后来创出“立体主义”名称的《吉尔·布拉斯》杂志的记者路易·沃塞尔,则突发灵感地想到了这一恰也合适的名称。

- 橱柜上柜上使用白炽灯照明系统(即多为黄色),这样的光暗对比能有效增加上下柜之间的空间透视,照在下柜的灯光宜使用冷色调的蓝色荧光灯。
- 黄色:可刺激神经和消化系统,加强逻辑思维,但金黄色的装饰却易造成不稳定和任意行为。所以在寝室与活动场所,最好避免使用金黄色的家具摆设。
