1. 超现实主义的艺术家为了表达奇发异想，也采用了种种的特殊技法，如、拓印法（frottage）、黏贴法（collage）、自动性技法（automatism）等。此外也采用精细而写实的手法。
2. 野兽派吸收了东方和非洲艺术的表现手法,在绘画中注意创造一种有别于西方古典绘画的疏﹑简的意境,有明显的写意倾向。有人把野兽派看作是广义的表现主义运动的一部分。
3. 藝術家菲勞生諾斯抄襲來自龐貝的亞力山大馬賽克，他用了大約150萬固小立體的石頭和玻璃來複製亞力山大在伊斯之役。

2. 黄色：可刺激神经和消化系统，加强逻辑思维，但金黄色的装饰却易造成不稳定和任意行为。所以在寝室与活动场所，最好避免使用金黄色的家具摆设。
3. 天花板的颜色宜轻不宜重，因为轻气上升为天，浊气下沉为地。天花板宜用轻清的颜色，符合天轻地重之义。
