- 维多利亚女王(1837-1901年在位)统治时期的英国, 是过分美化装饰的时代. 维多利亚时代的英国绘画, 至今并未获得应有的评价, 除去几位拉斐尔前派的画家外, 当时的英国画家如今几乎没有能留名在欧洲的绘画史主流中
- 十七世纪的欧洲，所谓巴罗克艺术繁荣兴盛，到十八世纪，却转变而为洛可可。洛可可艺术的中心是法国。
- 康定斯基对纯粹颜色的力量有了自己的概念，他强调纯色的心理效果，强调鲜红颜色怎样像号声一样使我们动心。
装饰装修 1 2 3 :
- 紫色：对运动神经、淋巴系统和心脏系统有压抑作用，可维持体内钾的平衡，有促进安静和爱情及关心他人的感觉。
- 在楼梯转弯处随着楼梯的形状摆放不很规则的装饰画，这样的效果也很好。
- 为体现格调而强调表现的部分尤应引起重视，在自然光源不能满足效果需求的情况下，就要采用人为光源来获取理想的效果。
