　Roof [ ru:f ] 
　 n. 屋顶
　 v. 给...覆以屋顶,覆盖
　1. She and I can't live under the same roof.
   她和我不能住在一起。

   我告诉她我把她的汽车撞坏了，她气得大发雷霆。

　Corner [ 'kɔ:nə ] 
　 n. 角落,转角,窘境
　 v. 将…逼入困境,使...陷入绝境,垄断
