1. 石溪诗文书画皆工，绘画成就尤为突出，石溪与石涛(1642—1727)齐名，并称“二石”；又与弘仁(1610-1663)、八大(1626—1705)和石涛四人并称“清初四大画僧”；与程正揆(号青溪)并称“二溪”。
