- 从没有能像马蒂斯那样娴熟地运用线条的构想和塑造形体及他所想要的一切，他的线条和色彩技能已经达到了炉火纯青的地步、尽善尽美的境界。
- 黑白装饰画中往往不直接运用灰色，而是用交叠穿插的块画和线条形成了视觉上的灰色区域。
