2. 为从潜意识心灵中产生意象，达利开始用一种自称为“偏执狂临界状态”的方法，在自己的身上诱发幻觉境界。
3. 野兽派吸收了东方和非洲艺术的表现手法,在绘画中注意创造一种有别于西方古典绘画的疏﹑简的意境,有明显的写意倾向。有人把野兽派看作是广义的表现主义运动的一部分。
