1. 作为立体主义的创始人， 毕加索是以“亚威农的少女”一画完全颠覆了过去具象写实的传统手法，成为立体主义的先声的。
2. 野兽派1905年产生于法国的松散的美术社团。他们继续着后印象主义的探索,追求更为主观和强烈的艺术表现，吸收了东方和非洲艺术的表现手法,有明显的写意倾向。
3. 梵高几乎没有受过什么正规的绘画训练。为弄到画布、油彩和画具而日复一日地奔波劳碌，精神上也不断处于矛盾的状态，为追求艺术的完美而承受着压力，这些即使不是他后来罹病的直接原因，也给他的生活悲剧埋下了种子。
