1. 野兽主义是西方20世纪前卫艺术运动中最早的一个派别。他们继续着后印象主义V.凡高﹑P.高更﹑P.塞尚等人的探索,追求更为主观和强烈的艺术表现。对西方绘画的发展,产生了重要的影响。
2. 后印象派为现代油画的发展起到了奠基的作用。文森特·梵高也是后印象派的代表人物之一。
