1. 写字台一般与窗户成直角而设，这样的自然光线角度较为适宜。室内多窗，则应将写字台置于北方来光的窗边。因为来自北方的光线比较柔和，光线受时间的影响小，比较稳定。
2. 使用软管接到灯位的，其长度不应超过1m。软管两端应用专用接头与接线盒、灯具连接牢固。金属软管本身应做接地保护。
3. 办公桌对着厕所门，会受厕所污气熏，日久必败。办公桌上方不可有横梁或吊灯，否则对升迁、财运不利。办公桌一端最好靠墙，较稳固，最忌将办公桌斜放。
