1. 毕加索作为法国现代画派的主要代表， 鸟(图7)是一位最富有创造性的艺术家，一直到去世十年，虽已届八十高龄，但他依然站在艺术创作的前列。
2. 立体派艺术运动1907至1920年间出现于欧洲。他们反对传统的透视法、远景短缩法和造型技法，而是用线条结合成部份的画面，然后再依自己的 个性发展，进而够成立体形。
3. 梵高于1886年来到巴黎，他在这里见到了劳特累克、修拉、西涅克和高更以及原先的印象主义小组的成员。
