1. 在十九世纪末，许多曾受到印象主义鼓舞的艺术家开始反对印象派，他们不满足于刻板片面的追求光色，强调作品要抒发艺术家的自我感受和主观感情，于是开始尝试对色彩及形体表现性因素的自觉运用，后印象派从此诞生。
2. 绘画有两种：一种为物质的交换，一为精神的追求。
3. 油画是用亚麻仁油或核桃油、罂粟油等一些快干油及经过处理的玛蒂树脂或达玛树脂等，调合各种颜色粉制成油画颜料和媒介剂在亚麻布、木板或厚纸板上作画的一种绘画形式。
