1. 厨房内灯光要足够，而照出来的灯光以白色为佳，否则影响颜色判断，以致食物是否做熟也辨不出来。同时要避免灯光产生阴影，所以射灯不适宜使用。
2. 写字台高度应为750-780mm，考虑到腿在桌子下面的活动区域，要求桌下净高不小于580mm。座椅一般高度为380-450mm，以方便人的活动需求。
3. 常用吊柜深度范围是30～40厘米，吊柜门的门柄要方便最常使用者的高度，而方便取存的地方最好用来放置常用品。
