1. “开着的窗户”也许是第一个主题达到充分发展的例子，马蒂斯的余生，一直偏爱着这种主题。它只不过是墙面的一小部分，窗户占了一大片地方。
2. 野兽派 1905年产生于法国的松散的美术社团。这个社团没有共同遵守的明确目标。没有发表过宣言和理论主张。野兽主义这个名称是偶然产生的。
