1. 古埃及有崇拜“金牛”之风，所谓“金牛”是体上有特别的斑纹的黑牡牛，据说这是生殖之神奥色里斯的化身。“金牛”初到庙堂的40天内，让女子在庙内裸体供奉，少女们纷纷把下体献给“金牛”，这是她们的一种宗教责任。
2. 野兽派画家热衷于运用鲜艳、浓重的色彩，往往用直接从颜料管中挤出的颜料，以直率、粗放的笔法，创造强烈的画面效果，充分显示出追求情感表达的表现主义倾向。
