　1. The peasants thought that the storm was a visitation.
   农民们认为这场暴风雨是上帝对人们的惩罚。
　2. The famine was a visitation of God for their sins.
   那次饥荒算是上帝对他们罪孽的惩罚.

1. “开着的窗户”也许是第一个主题达到充分发展的例子，马蒂斯的余生，一直偏爱着这种主题。它只不过是墙面的一小部分，窗户占了一大片地方。
2. 生活是一种多变的天候。既有翻滚的乌云，更有灿烂的阳光；既有突如其来的风雨，更有靓丽无比的彩虹。
3. 后印象派为现代油画的发展起到了奠基的作用。文森特·梵高也是后印象派的代表人物之一。

1. 卧室挂画的最佳位置是床头，尺幅选择90cm×135cm左右，特别强调务必使用双钉悬挂以策安全。
2. 水彩画从感觉上讲比较“软” 一点，大量使用，效果往往不好。
3. 书房地面应选用地板或地毯等材料,而墙面的用材最好用壁纸、板材等吸音较好的材料,以达到安宁静谧的效果。
