1. 塞尚的画甚至不顾及透视和人体解剖，只是用各种色块堆积成一个个似是而非的形态
2. 十七世纪的欧洲，所谓巴罗克艺术繁荣兴盛，到十八世纪，却转变而为洛可可。洛可可艺术的中心是法国。
3. 1920年到1930年间，超现实主义成为欧洲艺术界的主流。超现实主义的艺术家除了受到达达主义的影响外，奥地利学者弗洛伊德（Sigmund Freud l856-1939）的“精神分析学说”也是很重要的影响
