1. 油画是用亚麻仁油或核桃油、罂粟油等一些快干油及经过处理的玛蒂树脂或达玛树脂等，调合各种颜色粉制成油画颜料和媒介剂在亚麻布、木板或厚纸板上作画的一种绘画形式。
2. 野兽派1905年产生于法国的松散的美术社团。他们继续着后印象主义的探索,追求更为主观和强烈的艺术表现，吸收了东方和非洲艺术的表现手法,有明显的写意倾向。
3. 《夜晚的咖啡馆》是由深绿色的天花板、血红的墙壁和不和谐的绿色家具组成的梦魇。金灿灿的黄色地板呈纵向透视，以难以置信的力量进入到红色背景之中，反过来，红色背景也用均等的力量与之抗衡。这幅画是透视空间和企图破坏这个空间的逼人色彩之间的永不调和的斗争。作品预示了超现实主义用透视作为幻想表现手段的探索。

1. 餐厅配画以恬静、协调为主，主要是让人心情放松，能有一个良好的食欲。一般可配一些色彩鲜艳明亮的花卉，水果，静物等题材的挂画。
2. 黑白分明的画不宜挂在白色的墙上，以免强烈的刺激令人产生视觉疲劳
3. 灶台与洗菜池的距离不易太远或太近，因为若意外地烧着了东西，可以短距离内有水灭火。
